3DXTech’s THERMAX™ High Temperature Support (HTS) filament, the premium choice for dual extruder 3D printers tackling high-temp materials. Unlike typical support filaments, HTS is engineered to withstand the heat required for top-tier performance materials. Hailing from Michigan, USA, 3DXTech produces industrial-grade filaments in its Grand Rapids facility, catering to the rigorous demands of scientists and engineers worldwide. From aerospace to automotive, rail to food industries, their high-performance plastics empower manufacturers and laboratories globally.
Heated enclosure
To ensure optimal printing results with high-temperature materials, it’s recommended to utilize a heated enclosure or maintain a warm printing environment. It’s crucial to regulate the enclosure temperature below 185°C to preserve the structural integrity of the HTS support.
Supports removal
For optimal performance, utilize this detachable substrate, resistant to solubility. It’s advisable to detach the stand in a heated environment. Should the workpiece cool and support removal pose challenges, heat the workpiece in a compact furnace for 30-45 minutes to facilitate easier removal. Ensure the temperature within the printer chamber or furnace remains below the material model’s glass transition temperature (Tg) during printing.
